IMPORTANT DATES

Rehearsals for the next session will begin on Wednesday 8th January 2025, and weekly thereafter on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm in the St Stephen's Church hall Inverness IV2 4XA. New members would be welcome in the alto, tenor and bass sections.

Our Spring concert will be in Crown Church on Wednesday 2nd April at 7.30pm. Our theme this year is “Come rain or shine”.

We had two Christmas concerts last year: the first at Crown Church on Wednesday 4th December; the second, with a shorter programme, at Nairn Community & Arts Centre on Sunday 8th December. Both featured the usual mix of traditional and modern carols and Christmas songs, with the opportunity for some audience participation at both concerts.

SPRING CONCERTS 2024
Wednesday 24th April 7.30pm Crown Church Inverness
and
Tuesday 30th April 7.30pm Inverness Cathedral
(joint concert with Les Petits Chanteurs de Guewenheim)
The theme for our Spring concerts was "Rhythm & Rhyme" - Poetry in Song, and featured music based on poetry in a wide range of musical styles. We were delighted to welcome as guest artists the Animato String Quartet, who performed solo items as well as accompanying some of the choir songs.
We also very much enjoyed our first joint concert with Les Petits Chanteurs de Guewenheim, in the Cathedral.

CHRISTMAS CONCERTS 2023
Wednesday 7th December 7.30pm Crown Church Inverness
and
Sunday 10th December 3.00pm Nairn Community & Arts Centre
Both Christmas concerts proved very successful this year, and we were particularly delighted with the response to our very first concert in Nairn. The mix of traditional and modern carols and Christmas songs was very well received, with some enthusiastic audience participation at both concerts.

50TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT 2023
26th April 2023 Crown Church Inverness
The anniversary concert was a resounding success, including guest appearances by five past conductors: Pam McCulloch, Margaret Laing, Gordon Tocher, Doris Blair and Robin Versteeg, and solo performances by Alison Young, mezzo soprano. The programme included choral music from past concerts and new music not previously performed, including a specially commissioned song "Sing me home" composed by Lila Senior.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT 2022
Wednesday 7th December 7.30pm Crown Church Inverness
This was a very entertaining evening, with music ranging from popular Festive favourites to new arrangements and original compositions, with audience participation in well-known carols.
